Weekend and MayPac fight

So this weekend was really all about the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight. Although we did not avail of the Pay-per-View, we got lucky and got a free live stream online, thanks to facebook friend, Titus.

The hype was so real. We even planned the food we were going to cook when the fight goes down.

Since we don't eat so much meat in the house, (we prefer the healthier fish and veggies) we thought this fight was incomplete without meat. There has to be! It was the fight of the century!

We thought of Korean barbecue because it was the easiest to do. Sprinkled onions and some pepper and a little veggies, it was good to go.

Getting excited for the first 6-8 rounds, (although I have to tell you online streaming is frustrating because you know it always freezes) but we actually went through with it. 

Ok, so Manny lost. Funny thing was that we wanted to see the replay after the whole live streaming but did not. It's not fun to lose. When Manny lost, we felt like we lost as well.

But for some reason Dwayne bet on Mayweather. He was the only one in the house who bet on the opponent. Asked by his tita Rex on why? you're a Filipino! He said, but I thought I was Filipino but I'm American.

Then he said during the fight that Mayweather was furious and fast! He's really been watching too much "grown up" movies these days.

So, I'm not an expert on boxing and everybody knows I'm team pacman. He did not win but to see the world react like that, is something. This is probably a start of a revolution. Who knows.
