So, last night I decided to spend dinner with the two most beautiful people in the world, my son and my partner.
Even though we are tight with money these days, and I was quite surprised on how I easily made that choice last night, I think overall it was worth it.
This is the reason:
I mean seriously, how much antics can this kid give me? He's trying to order as if telling me he wants this and that. I am truly amazed. He gets me every time.
Fast forward, on our way home, my partner decided to put us at the back of the van. Not for whatever purpose but because as kids realize that they can do many things, they tend to be very restless, as if they found their strength. We would find him getting all sort of things he could rumble in the front seat. He would stand up, sit down, grab this and that, it's utter chaos. I am left with no choice but give him his freedom, otherwise he would shout. Yes, kids his age do shout, and he's not even a year old yet.
So, our only hope was that he would somehow stay still at the back of the van where he doesn't see anything that would interest his enthusiastic mind. Finally, after a few minutes of traffic and perhaps tired from all his little misdemeanors, he dozed of beside me. I laid him flat in his back so he could sleep and I gave him the pillow that was sitting in the van.
After few seconds, I found him laughing ferociously and as I looked at him he was playing hide and seek with me. He used the pillow to hide his face and after a minute he would uncover himself as if telling me that hey, I'm here! I laughed so hard. I was saying Bulaga!each time he shows his face. And he would laugh again. It went on until our stop at the drugstore to buy his milk.
We were laughing our hearts out. It was the greatest experience ever.
Even this highly, over the top priced food was worth it because I had with me my treasures.

OMG. such a grown up! really.. he's witty and doesn't even know it! haha
