NOT SO TYPICAL SUNDAY

So yesterday I went to XU Chapel to hear a mass. I went by myself because my partner had to do something else and my kid was with his grandparents. I wanted to go because to be frank I was a little off myself. I wanted some clarity and guidance with how I was feeling and seeing life. And I'm glad I did. Because the reading was about a person with uncleansed spirit. The priest was so thorough and detailed about the reading that I understood it perfectly and realized in the same way my spirit was not in peace.

"God want His people to be away from anxiety, unexpressed anger, envy, etc." And we can be instruments as well either to add that anxiety for others or to lessen their burden. The point basically is we should fill our hearts with pure positive energy and words of God so that all the things we think matters don't have to fill our everyday routine anymore.

So the picture is the normal after mass Sunday in the chapel. Eventhough I graduated from this school, I still feel at home in its campus.

So, I met up with my old friend Che. We met in Concentrix when I landed a job in our local call center in 2007.  We became close friends ever since. Now, she is preggers. So, I am happy to give her some tips here and there. She is expecting a baby boy, another future playmate of my son. (Wheww)

She is also about to meet her husband. Now, we are talking about a whole new world of troubles like domestic dilemmas, financial problems, relationship hurdles and much more. I guess growing up didn't seem this painful but we still love the life we have. It's just the normal ups and downs.

By the way the dress she's wearing is a purchase from Vietnam. She bought it at just Php350. It's really just simple and perfect. I think.

Okay. So after she left I decided to take some pics of Divisoria. There have been new establishments in the area, part where I am most proud of. So, Park Cafe now has the Sweet Shop. Actually, I haven't been inside the shop. I haven't tried their products but it's a nice addition to the booming city of Cagayan de Oro.

The Magsaysay Park I remember always passing by here and hanging out with my friends in College. It's still a good place for meet-ups. It's the heart of the City so you'll find almost anyone here. Everyone knows this place too.

The newest and I can say the most dined chain near Xavier is not Jollibee anymore, it's McDonald's. Situated just across XU, I think every Atenean comes here. It's nice.
