As promised to my sis, I am going to post the new pics for the apartment. Actually, this was the original interior design. It was just re-arranged after my giving birth because we had to put the bed downstairs since I could not climb the ladder to the second floor after my CS operation. But I am happy it's now back with lesser stuff. I am a pure minimalist. I don't like too much stuff. So far, I like it the way it is now.
This is the sala or living room. I love it as of the moment. I was planning to buy new wooden cabinet for the TV but seeing it as it is, perhaps I really don't need it. I love the huger space it provides now. My kid can run around without hitting too much of anything. Plus his toy car fits in perfectly.
One of the newer feature of this area is the floormat. We bought it in Balita Marketing in OsmeƱa St. at Php75 per meter and we consumed 18 meters in total for the whole first floor. I realized that if you want your room to look bigger and brighter, the tip is get a bright floor! What more, you can see the dirt instantly and clean it immediately. It really feels like a different room now as opposed to our old darker floormat.
This is the dining area. Now, the six whole chairs are fitted in the table. Everyone can eat around the table without any problem with space.
So, this is the dining and kitchen area. We just placed the little divider to segregate the living and dining space. Since it's not a huge apartment, an adequate divider will do. (That's our very good house help and second degree cousin preparing for lunch.) I still have yet to fix the whole storage space in the kitchen cabinet. That's my second goal.
The best part with the renovation is that Dwayne can watch TV without having to be on the screen. He can sit in one of the chairs which he now prefers or he can go to his toy car and watch.
love those window shutters!
