After being sick!

I am so glad to have this smile and laughter back. After three days of Dwayne having on and off fever, I was sure I was going to have a heart attack. I did not know what to do, so many things crippled in my head. The most horrid hypothesis I could come up was the possibility of Dwayne getting Dengue or that dreadful disease from a bite of the mosquito. It is common here in the Philippines so I really am scared of that. Not only will that give pain to my son but also to us his parents. It's not an easy illness to cure. You have to be medicated in the hospital which means huge bills to pay, nevertheless painful in all aspects.

Although, it is still not a good thing to have a fever, we found out and the doctor said he had infection in the stomach. Probably he was having amoeba, worse thing but can be cured with antibiotics from the pharmacy, a lot less stress for me, really. We never drink from tap water but according to his doctor, he might have swallowed some tap water while taking a bath. Perhaps! It was a huge relief for me. Right now, Dwayne is on medication and feeling way better, as seen in the pics. No more sleepless nights, just good night sleep. And a little peek a boo in the morning!

Lesson learned: Always make sure your kid doesn't get a drink from tap water. It's not safe. (at least here in our city)
