Saturday and 39 degrees!

So it is officially summer here in the Philippines. It means no more classes for the kiddos and the HEAT is on. It was reported on TV that in Manila, the temperature reached 39 degrees Celsius. Imagine that! I am sure we are close to that kind of heat here in Cagayan de Oro. No wonder no one goes to the park these days. Unbearably hot.

We went with my father to the mall to change the lens of his glasses. And with kids like Dwayne who can't seem to stick to one place in no more than a minute, we followed him walking around each corner of the mall he could reach. At one point he would stop, perhaps a little urinating is going on. Nevertheless, he was busy just going on and on the space.

There were a few falling down here and there. But he managed to stand up as if nothing happened. Then, I introduced him to the local food which includes cassava cake, etc. But unfortunately, his taste buds may not be up to it yet. We went home after the transaction was done. And guess what, it rained! Good thing, we brought an umbrella. Speak about weather-weather.

  2. Wow! It seems little Dwayne isn't affected by the summer heat. He loves walking, seeing around, touching something, eating, etc. He's so cute and lovable! I miss him so much!

  7. Hi! Thank you for dropping by my blog. Also stalking your blog now. ^_^

I feel so lucky that my family lives here in Baguio. But even at times, it can still get really hot during mid-day pero like 23-25 deg C lang. My parents and siblings in Nueva Ecija nagrereklamo na din sa super hot weather. I hope the weather gets more comfy for CDO and Nueva Ecija and everywhere else in the Philippines soon.

    Take care! ^_^
