Me and my two men went to a Baptism Ceremony on Sunday. The daughter of my close friend Dive is 8 months old and as tradition here in the Philippines, and for Catholics like us, as early as that age, little ones can be baptized and welcomed to the Christian world. So, we went and witnessed the event.
I am a Catholic and I am fixed with that but somehow I can't help but get dismayed sometimes at the misconception of the members of the Church particularly when they say that Pills can kill babies inside the womb. I mean, for sure it can have a negative effect when you are already carrying a child. A pill should be taken on time to prevent forming the baby, not the other way around.
There is just so much to be discussed about the issue on the RH bill here. I mean I know advanced countries have already solved this years ago in their own nation but because Filipinos are led hugely by religion, there is that big debate still going on. Just to say the least, there has to be an answer to this growing population. And to think moms here are getting younger and younger.
