Our little Eiffel Tower!

I saw a Facebook Friend one day posted a little Eiffel Tower in one of our malls here in Cagayan de Oro and it got me thinking, what on earth???? It was a feeling of mixed curiosity and awe all at one. First, I thought it is just out of the box concept, why would anyone think of putting that sort of tower in a mall??? I mean sure anyone could do it but why now??? Don't get me wrong I really got pumped up by the idea and got quite excited to see it in person, probably because I dream of going there one day. Nevertheless, it was so surreal. So, knowing me I had to see it to believe it. And yes, we did! Me, with my partner and little son went and took pictures of ourselves. I'm sure it's not as half as the real thing but I am super glad we went.

Okay so I must admit it wasn't bad. The whole thing was perfectly done. It was neat. And I suddenly realized the Valentine's was coming up. Yes! That must be the reason why they put up such delicate project, the most romantic and iconic architecture ever built. Hundreds of people if not all want to see such beauty. Ahhh...romantic isn't it? Anyway, our sight seeing was coupled with purchasing books and yes eating pizza.

We ordered the Extra Large Pizza! Guess what, only one slice was left from the three of us. I think we were more than happy to eat everything. Hahaha. Dwayne loved it too. I think it has become his favorite so far. Then moving on, we toured the whole mall since it has been redesigned few months back. We got to see the result and I find the space more customer friendly and cozy.

Not to mention I bought so many books particularly for Dwayne because he loves flipping pages so much that I had to encourage it at a young age I feel. But knowing the pricey cost of book nowadays, I bought 3 books in National Bookstore one time, although each cost only Php70 but the three amounted to more than Php200. I mean seriously for a kiddie book? Now, those books are torn apart, scratched and disintegrated into pages. So, my mother advised me to buy books from a BookSale or small book shops to get cheaper value. True enough, I found it in the mall. Imagine my amazement!

We had to get him his favorite toy of all. It made his day which in turn made my day too, win-win situation. And coming back home was great too. Dwayne started his book flipping and was so entranced by the pictures and animals he can recognize. He wouldn't even look at the camera for picture taking anymore.

And I got my own! I am starting on the first few pages and loving it.
