On Graduation, FOOD and DWAYNE!

 

It has been quite a hectic past few days. My youngest sister just graduated from College and here in the Philippines, Graduations are HUGE events. Check out the ENORMOUS Lechon Baboy (PIG) in our background! So, consequently, we had to prepare and invite family and friends. An approximate 50 or more people came. It was awesome!

Thanks to a lot of people who made this occasion a success. And everyone who celebrated with us! And to my Mom, and two sisters in Vietnam who turned this celebration into reality ($$$$)! :-)

• used a head phone for the first time while watching Barney. Thanks to ante Gangga for the headphones.
• took a ride in the jeepney with just the both of us. Dare I say that taking care of this kid needs a lot of patience and physical agility. He is just everywhere. And he doesn't want to be stopped!
• Apparently, he likes the feel of driving. He wants to be near the driver.
• Among his favorite hobbies are of course trying to maneuver the driver seat, cars, wheels, cartoon shows in Disney Junior, shoes (he likes to wear other people's shoes, true story!) and apparently anything mechanical..(While I was trying to buy cellphone load in the street, he found a water meter and looked into it, opened and just investigated what it was about. I don't think I met a kid like that before. Amazing!) etc.
• Likes to walk around and look and touch things which I am wary that he might break something and have to pay for it. GOSH!
• Other than that, he is ok. My kid is supposed to be the way kids are. I take comfort in that.
